Data Deletion

You’re in control of your data. Here’s how to delete your notes or your entire NoteSaarthi account.

Delete individual notes

To remove specific notes, open My Notes in your account, select the notebook or page, and choose Delete. Deleting a note also removes its extracted text and search vectors used by the AI.

Delete your entire account

Follow these steps to permanently delete your account and associated data:

  1. Email us from your registered email address using the Contact page (choose “General inquiry”).
  2. Use the subject line “Account deletion request”.
  3. We’ll verify the request and confirm before proceeding.
  4. Your account and data are permanently deleted within 30 days of confirmation.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile and login details.
  • Your uploaded notes (images/PDFs), extracted text, and search vectors.
  • Your learning activity — doubts, quizzes, concept lists and progress.
  • Your marketplace listings that have not been purchased.

What we may retain

We may retain limited records where legally required — for example, payment and tax records, and transaction records for notes already purchased by other users. Notes another student has already purchased remain available to that buyer as a read-only notebook.
